Emma Weiss Holyst is a second-year graduate student in a Costume Production MFA at UNC Chapel Hill. They received their undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Experimental Humanities from Bard College. They worked at Bard’s Summerscape festival for three summers as a stitcher, assistant costume coordinator, and as a crafts artisan. They also worked as a wardrobe supervisor on Norwegian Cruise Lines and stitched for Lynne Mackey Studios in New York City.
